Terms and Disclaimer
Please read these terms before submitting case information or agreeing to any engagement.
1. Nature of the service
Korea Trade Dispute Resolution, operated by Laura Valls / LV Korea Desk, provides commercial advisory and negotiation-support services in relation to trade disputes involving Korean counterparties.
The service is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal opinions. It is not debt collection, insurance assessment, customs advice, inspection, or formal mediation with legal authority.
2. No engagement by submission
Submitting the confidential case assessment form, booking a call, or contacting this service does not create an advisory engagement and does not create a lawyer-client relationship.
An engagement begins only after written acceptance, an agreed scope, agreed terms, and payment.
3. Conflict and scope check
Every submission is subject to a conflict and scope check. A matter may be declined because of fit, capacity, conflict, professional boundaries, or insufficient information.
4. No guarantee of outcome
No outcome is guaranteed. Advice is based on the information provided by the client and on commercial judgement; it does not constitute a prediction or an assurance of resolution, recovery, or settlement.
Automated logic is not used to generate legal conclusions, and no statement should be read as confirmation that a position is legally protected.
5. Client responsibilities
Clients remain responsible for protecting their own contractual, legal, insurance, customs, banking, and regulatory deadlines and rights.
Clients are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents they submit and for confirming that they are authorized to share them.
Independent legal or technical professionals may be required, and should be instructed by the client directly.
6. Fees
Indicative fees are published on the Services and Fees page. Final scope and fees depend on urgency, documentation volume, number of parties, financial exposure, language requirements, and whether external professional support is needed.
Placeholder: payment processing will be handled by a compliant payment provider. Card details are never collected on this site.
7. Confidentiality
Case information is treated as confidential and handled as described in the Privacy Policy and the Confidentiality and Professional Boundaries page.
8. Review status
